About The Position

As a Security Officer - Enhanced Screening Officer in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, verifying credentials, and supporting access control procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a technology location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, materials, and vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
  • Verify credentials, authorize access according to site policies, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
