About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control authorized access to buildings, yards, loading areas, and other restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including warehouse, distribution, parking, trailer, and gate areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support security-related operations by communicating with staff, visitors, and/or transportation personnel, helping to follow site policies, directing foot and vehicle traffic when needed, and maintaining accurate activity logs.
