About The Position

As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Ontario, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen personnel, visitors, and materials; monitor access points; and report security-related concerns. The role includes professional customer service, clear communication, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or belongings according to established access-control procedures and applicable site policies.
Monitor screening equipment and access points, report irregularities, and document screening-related activities as required.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
