About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service while supporting a welcoming environment through communication, teamwork, and integrity. The role is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.38 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence.
