About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in a healthcare setting in Lewiston, Idaho, you will serve and safeguard clients while helping maintain a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. The position is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related requests, and critical situations while following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control, and directions.
Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
