About The Position
As a Security Officer Distribution Center Patrol in Frederick, Maryland, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service. This is a part-time position scheduled for Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.34 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and potential policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
