About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Culver City, California, you will safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide responsive customer service through clear communication. The role is full-time and scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.32 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors.
