Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across assigned areas. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points, as assigned.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues observed during patrols.
