About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare location in Kansas City, Missouri. This primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, staff, personnel, and delivery drivers. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The position pays $19.09 per hour and is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility, warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records according to site procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and completed patrols, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
