About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer – Patrol Driver in Sugar Grove, Illinois, serving a food and beverage location. The officer helps safeguard the site and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors through visible patrols, customer service, and responsive assistance. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $23.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor property access and verify visitor and vendor authorization as directed.
Report unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
