As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building conditions while assisting with badge checks, directional assistance, and policy compliance in support of daily office operations.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, hazards, and unusual activity, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding security-related concerns.
