About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Lexington, Kentucky, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use clear communication and computer or tablet tools to support daily operations and represent Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.63 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly operations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
