About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, documenting observations, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role follows site-specific procedures and policies and may involve emergency response activities. The listed schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
