Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public cultural location.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications through dispatch systems, including receiving calls, documenting incidents, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and maintaining accurate activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, access points, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, galleries, offices, loading areas, and perimeter locations, while providing a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
