As a Security Officer Entry Control in Murfreesboro, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen authorized access, and document visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and client-directed policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
