Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, visitor check-in activities, and/or emergency response support appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related observations and reporting them through proper channels.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to guest and staff areas.
  • Support hotel operations by assisting guests, staff, and vendors with directions, entry procedures, and other front desk-related needs in a professional manner.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and communication updates related to front desk activity, deliveries, lost and found items, and other security-related matters.
