About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Security in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, manage access at the front desk, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location policies.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of daily activity at the location, document security-related events and visitor activity, and report unusual conditions through proper channels.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by assisting with badge issuance, directing foot traffic, answering routine inquiries, and following healthcare location procedures for privacy and access control.
