As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in LAKELAND, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Join Allied Universal at a shelter location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, helping to monitor entry activity, verify visitors, respond to questions, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting residents, visitors, and staff, verifying identification and/or visitor information, and documenting entry activity according to site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support a welcoming front desk environment by answering questions, providing directions, and reporting suspicious, unusual, and/or concerning activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to front desk activity, incidents, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
