Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and visitor management protocols.
  • Monitor access to the location by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining front desk logs, and/or communicating entry instructions in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Support daily operations in a tech, media, and/or telecom location by answering phones, receiving inquiries, documenting unusual activity, and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible front desk presence, observing lobby activity, and following established escalation procedures.
