Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk, following site-specific policies and supporting security-related procedures for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue access materials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or emergency contacts regarding visitor concerns, deliveries, and security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Maintain front desk records, visitor logs, and incident notes, while supporting Allied Universal standards and client location protocols.
