Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor and employee access requirements, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Answer questions, give directions, and support visitors, employees, and/or vendors while maintaining accurate front desk records and visitor logs.
  • Communicate with site contacts, management, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, and front desk support needs.
