About The Position

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol in Berkeley, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. This unarmed patrol role maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct patrols, observe and report conditions, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication.

The position is full-time, with a weekday schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $18.75 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Provide exceptional customer service at a financial services location.
