About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Licensed Driver in Salinas, California. The officer will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

The position is scheduled for daytime hours, with shifts listed as Monday and Sunday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may need to be met before employment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
