About The Position

Securitas is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers, including armed, unarmed, and event positions. Officers observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to help protect client property and personnel. The listed pay range is $17–$20 per hour, with unarmed positions starting at $17 and armed positions at $20. All shifts are available, including weekends; officers must be available for weekends and flexible scheduling and able to cover assigned events and shifts as needed. Candidates must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards and pass a drug screen and background check. Professional appearance is required; visible body-piercing accessories or tattoos are not permitted unless authorized. Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule.
Must be able to cover assigned events and shifts as needed.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills and professional conduct.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Professional appearance; visible body-piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized.
Must pass the employer's drug screen and background check.
