About The Position

Requirements

• Hospital positions require proof of required vaccinations.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor directions and general support.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, and by completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
