As a Security Officer Lobby Associate in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will help create a welcoming presence, monitor access activity, support guest and visitor interactions, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting guests and visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor access as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive observation and professional presence.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, manage sign-in records, issue visitor badges or credentials when required, and complete reports related to security-related events and daily activities.
  • Support hotel and resort operations by communicating with staff and management regarding suspicious activity, policy questions, and/or front desk concerns.
