Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with location policies.
• Answer and route calls, assist with directions, and communicate with staff regarding visitor access, deliveries, and other security-related concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe activity in the lobby and reception area to help support a professional environment and help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related issues.
