Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials when authorized, and communicate clearly with staff regarding guest arrivals and front desk activity.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of entry points, observing unusual behavior, and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
