About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Part Time Dispatch Console Operator in Cambridge, Massachusetts, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. In this dispatch role, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources to support a secure environment. You will provide customer service and help deter security-related incidents through clear communication and timely response. The position is scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and pays $26.01 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting a professional healthcare environment.
Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related service requests, alarms, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel.
Monitor communication systems, access activity, and other assigned platforms; maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols for reporting, escalation, and shift handoff communications.
