About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to incidents and requests. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to healthcare location staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations using radios, telephones, and electronic communication systems.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay incident details in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining accurate dispatch logs and activity records.
• Monitor communication channels, alarm notifications, and applicable systems; coordinate responses with on-site personnel and/or emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
