About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Controller in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, and help direct response resources for security-related incidents. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and incidents to assigned personnel using established communication protocols.
Monitor communications systems, cameras, and other available systems; document incidents, dispatch activity, and relevant information in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit operations, emergency responders, and law enforcement as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
