As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Coordination in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor access control and alarm activity, and support response to incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate documentation. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, access control notifications, and other security-related systems; document and route service requests, incidents, and critical information to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel and resources in response to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, medical situations, and other site events.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
