Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor activity, and report policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
Support site operations by preparing clear reports, preserving incident details, and coordinating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts when situations require additional assistance.
