Security Officer Foot Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Los Angeles, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. In this unarmed role at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. The position is full-time and pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Maintain a visible presence, observe unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
