About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Credential Driver in Franklin Lakes, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to healthcare and laboratory areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and following site-specific access protocols.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
  • Maintain accurate reports and records related to visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and shift activities.
