You will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured entry points, or other security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to access activity, incidents, and shift operations.
