About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Validation in Clayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and/or access-control needs.
