As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and documenting security-related activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, access-control exceptions, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
