About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and communicating professionally with residents, visitors, and vendors. You will remain visible, support security-related procedures, and help deter incidents through attentive observation and customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management.
