About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management in Batchelor, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and supporting site access procedures. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and control access to authorized areas.
  • Screen and direct deliveries, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures, communicating access requirements and escort needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
