About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the retail distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic at gates and/or loading areas, maintain required logs, and report access irregularities or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution facility, business areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
