About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Screening Compliance in Rialto, California, at a logistics and distribution location. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment. The scheduled shift is Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The position involves screening people and items, conducting patrols, providing customer service, and responding to incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and authorized personnel entering designated areas, including verifying identification and access credentials.
• Monitor screening equipment and inspect packages, personal belongings, and other items as permitted by site policy and applicable procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
