About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Access Escort in Ontario, California, for an assigned site. The position has a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide an opportunity to increase hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, while retaining the option to scale back. The role pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The officer provides customer service and performs access control, recordkeeping, traffic control, incident response, and patrol duties at a retail distribution location. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit at assigned gates or access points, following procedures for inbound and outbound traffic.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
