About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Access Control in Fontana, California. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may scale their hours up to 40 per week or back down as needed. The stated pay rate is $19.32 per hour, and the listed schedule is Sunday, 5:30 PM–9:30 PM.

The officer supports security operations at manufacturing and industrial facilities, including access control, visitor screening, patrols, and responding to alarms and other security-related situations. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may need to be met before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Manage access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access control systems; report malfunctioning equipment, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
