As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, badge verification, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support front lobby and reception-area operations as needed by assisting with directions, answering basic questions, and documenting security-related activities and incidents accurately.
