Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a utilities location.
  • Monitor visitor access at the front desk, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to document arrivals, departures, and authorized access requests.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support badge or access-related processes in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other records related to front desk activity, incidents, and/or unusual observations.
