About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Badge Verification in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, complete routine site activity, and use teamwork, integrity, and communication to support daily operations in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes when appropriate, and/or maintain accurate logs of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering or leaving the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, gates, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, assist with traffic and vehicle access management during busy periods, and/or help maintain orderly operations at controlled access points.
