About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification Driver in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, register visitors, and help to control the flow of employees, guests, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns and report conditions that require attention.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and access records, and support badge checks, vehicle entry screening, and other security-related functions tied to the post.
