As a Security Officer Dispatch Lead in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. In this role, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, support access activity, and help maintain awareness across the site. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and emergency communication activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in response to calls for service, incidents, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and relaying timely updates to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records, including incident details, shift activity, and status updates related to security-related operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while remaining prepared to support dispatch coordination during changing site conditions.
