About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic financial institution location. In this role, you will monitor assigned areas and communication systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain a visible and professional presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • The ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, phones, radios, and/or other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in response to routine activity, incidents, and emergency situations.
  • Document calls, incidents, status updates, and/or dispatch activity in logs and reports with attention to detail and timely communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while coordinating security-related responses and sharing updates with on-site personnel.
